Digital Marketing Executive

Job Summary:

The Digital Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing our online marketing efforts. This role involves working closely with the Digital Marketing Manager and other team members to enhance Shanco’s online presence, engage with our target audience, and drive traffic and conversions through various digital channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Strategy and Management:
    • Develop and implement content strategies that align with marketing goals.
    • Create, manage, and oversee content production for social media, blogs, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
    • Collaborate with designers, writers, and other stakeholders to ensure content is engaging and consistent with the brand voice.
  • Social Media Management:
    • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
    • Manage and monitor social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and other relevant platforms.
    • Analyze social media performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • SEO and SEM:
    • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for SEO and SEM.
    • Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings.
    • Plan, execute, and optimize PPC campaigns to drive targeted traffic.
  • Email Marketing:
    • Design and implement email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional offers, and automated sequences.
    • Segment email lists and tailor campaigns to specific audiences.
    • Track and analyze email campaign performance and suggest improvements.
  • Analytics and Reporting:
    • Use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) to track and report on website traffic, conversion rates, and other key performance indicators.
    • Prepare regular reports on digital marketing performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Campaign Management:
    • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns across various channels, including PPC, social media, email, and display advertising.
    • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
  • Market Research:
    • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on research findings to inform marketing strategies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • 0-4 years of experience in digital marketing or a related role.
  • Proficiency with digital marketing tools and platforms, including Google Analytics, Google Ads, social media management tools, and email marketing software.
  • Strong understanding of SEO and SEM principles and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator).
  • Basic HTML/CSS skills.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
